FAQ

How do I buy tickets?
Tickets are available via each stage. You can find links and more info on the program page of this website.
Tickets range from 0kr – 695kr per ticket. (0€ – 72€ per ticket)

Is there a festival pass?
No, we do not sell any festival pass. Instead, purchase a separate ticket for each concert. The festival stages differ in audience capacity and a single festival pass would not guarantee a place at all the concerts. Instead you can buy tickets to the concerts you want to see and therefore it is a guaranteed spot.

Standing or sitting?
Stockholm Concert Hall has numbered seats. Fasching has guaranteed seating for those that book dining tickets. Regarding other stages, we refer you to the respective websites of each stage for more information.

Age limit?
Yes, at some concerts there is an age limit of 18 years. In order to find out what applies for each concert please visit the program page for more information.

Accreditations and press inquiries?
Send an email to brev@ebbalindqvist.se for accreditations and press inquiries. Please indicate which concerts you want to watch, and for what purpose. Please remember to include your contact information so we can reach you. Application are open from August 27, 2015.

Photograph?
On most stages it is forbidden to take pictures with the flash and with “professional equipment”, on some stages it is also forbidden to shoot with the camera phone. Please pay close attention to signs prohibiting the use of a camera! If you are a press photographer you need accreditation contact us at brev@ebbalindqvist.se and we will arrange this.

Using public transport?
To plan your trip with Stockholm’s public transportation system, please visit SL’s website. The website is available in English.

 ABOUT STOCKHOLM JAZZ FESTIVAL

Stockholm Jazz Festival is one of Sweden’s oldest festivals and one of Stockholm’s biggest events. It is a festival with a solid reputation in the music world and considered one of Europe’s most well-kept and pleasant festivals which for a while has had its home on the island of Skeppsholmen. With the move to Skansen in 2011 the festival began its journey into the future. Since 2012, the festival is housed indoors, on the best stages in Stockholm. In 2014 the festival expanded to 10 full days. Attendance exceeded 21,000 and some of the notable highlights included Jamie Cullum, Angelique Kidjo and the Wayne Shorter Quartet. The latter concert was broadcasted live by the renowned French television channel Mezzo to over 16 million households in 46 countries! Now in 2015 the festival is back, 9th-18th of October.

Tove and Ingvar Jensen are owners of the Stockholm Jazz Festival since 2009. With great commitment and a strong desire to develop a sustainable model for one of our most beloved festivals they follow the process closely during the year. Tove and Ingvar support, incidentally, a number of other cultural activities in Sweden, mainly in art and film.

Stockholm Jazz Festival is organized by Fasching.
